Detective Special (D Frame)
After 1966, Colt redesigned all of their long "D" frame revolvers to a short "D" frame revolver. Our Hogue wood and rubber grips are designed to fit Colt revolver models with the short "D" frame only as pictured. This frame fits other post-1966 short "D" frame revolvers as listed: Detective Special, Diamondback, Police Positive Special, Cobra, Agent and Viper. In addition, Hogue Rubber grips will fit the SF-VI, DS-II, Magnum Carry and Lady Special models. Grips for Detective Special (D frame) are available in black rubber and hardwoods.
