Diamondback (D Frame)
The Colt Diamondback was manufactured from 1966 to 1988 and has the same short "D" frame design as with the post-1966 Detective Special. Because the Diamondback is used primarily as a target gun, our Hogue grips are intentionally made larger to accomplish improved control; however, our sleeker Hogue Detective Special grips will fit the D Frame as well. Grips for Colt Diamondback (D frame) are available in black rubber and hardwoods.
